Emily Dust

Emily Dust is a leading voice in UK club culture across DJing, curating and broadcasting as the freshly-announced presenter of Bandcamp Radio’s new Electronic show, host of the celebrated DJ podcast Dances For Buildings and one of the driving forces behind Baile LDN.

Whether she’s behind the decks or on air, Emily Dust has a respected tastemaker’s approach to curation. You can hear it in her acclaimed podcast Dances For Buildings, now in its second season: it showcases Emily’s vast knowledge of electronic music via thoughtful conversations about the art of DJing with some of the most exciting and innovative names today, including DJ Target, Jamz Supernova, Girls Don’t Sync, Tina Edwards, Coco Em and Catu Diosis.

Off the mic and in the club, Baile LDN, the night she founded in 2019 with DJ Mango Park has gone from strength to strength over the past few years. There have been festival takeovers, Boxpark events and a sold out UK debut show with Brazilian grime MC SD9 in 2022.

It’s a wide-ranging ethos Emily also reflects in her illuminating BBC radio documentaries, whether she’s exploring the radical energy of Berlin’s electronic music scene or hosting and producing the first audio deep-dive on gqom outside of South Africa. Emily’s radio career began at BBC 1Xtra, where she was behind specialist shows for the likes of David Rodigan and Toddla T. These days, however, she’s firmly in front of the mic: February 2026 sees her start as as the presenter of Bandcamp Electronic, a brand new bi-weekly show on Bandcamp Radio.
